Scots’ Charitable Society, in collaboration with Scottish Arts, held a Tartan Ball that brought everyone together with renewed energy and connections with Scottish friends and family. The Annual Tartan Ball took place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover, Massachusetts.
The event was a huge success. This legendary Scottish celebration featured live music and entertainment from some of the top local Scottish artists, including award-winning pipers, highland dancers, and fiddlers. The guest band was Celtic Beats, a renowned New England-based Celtic band led by bagpiper Campbell Webster, who also actively tours with the Dropkick Murphys. The evening was kicked off by an opening ceremony led by our new president, Scott McKenzie, Claire MacPherson of Scottish Arts, and a blessing by Rev. Thomas Reid.

In addition to the top-notch entertainment, guests also enjoyed a beautiful 3-course meal and participated in a raffle that featured rare Scotch whiskies, golf outings, and many other Scottish delights. After dinner, guests tried their hand (and feet) at ceilidh dancing led by an experienced caller from Scottish Arts. It was truly a night to remember! Thank you to our members, friends and supporters for making this such a special event, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
