From our table in the clan village, we did what we love most: meeting people of Scottish descent and sharing the story of an organization at work since 1657. As the oldest charitable organization still operating in the Western Hemisphere, the Society was founded in colonial Boston on a simple promise — to look after fellow Scots in need — and that promise still guides us today. Alongside providing relief to Scottish-American families, we award undergraduate scholarships to students of Scottish heritage across New England, close to $3 million granted since 1942.

As we do at many of the games we attend, we also held our raffle to raise awareness and funds for those scholarship and relief programs. Our thanks to everyone who took a chance with us, and to the Glasgow Lands organizers and volunteers for another wonderful day.
