Founded in 1657, The Scots’ Charitable Society is the oldest charitable organization still existing in the Western Hemisphere.

Scots’ Society aims to provide relief to Scots individuals and/or families in need.

The Society also awards undergraduate scholarships to the Scottish-American community.

Scots’ Charitable seeks to promote Scottish and Celtic heritage through education, participation in highland games, parades and other cultural events throughout the Greater Boston area.
